I love to draw. Pencils, watercolours, charcoal – anything that leaves a mark, except for mug rings on the table (that’s modern art already). My process: first I draw perfectly, then I redraw, then I curse, then accidentally a masterpiece appears. Or not – then it’s “abstract”

I mostly write poems at night, when all normal people are dreaming. Rhythm, rhyme, metaphors – and suddenly I realise I’ve rhymed “love” with “dove” for the hundredth time. But it’s tradition! My poems are a diary, only instead of “bought bread” – “oh, how pale is this light”
